About Me

The dictionary defines learning as “the acquisition of knowledge or skills through experience, study, or being taught”; this action has been my driving force for as long as I can remember. Wanting to learn more about graphic design led me to Flagler College, where I majored in graphic design and minored in advertising.

My journey began six years ago when I worked for Miss Florida United States as a graphic designer. For the first two years with Miss Florida United States, I had no real graphic design knowledge, and it was my eagerness to learn more that led me to Flagler College. While attending Flagler, I took a branding class that launched a passion for logo design and advanced my knowledge of brand consistency. My advertising classes are where I thrived; my creative mind and my analytical mind melted together. During my time as a full-time student, I worked for a local retail business in the Jacksonville area that allowed me to assist with visual displays due to my graphic design abilities. There I found a new passion for visual merchandising.

I am still a student of my profession and eager to learn more from other professionals in the graphic design and retail community. Currently, I am looking for full-time employment, where I can grow and learn more about graphic design or visual merchandising. I want to find a company that is devoted to its clients and assists in developing their designer’s skills.
